Punjab were hammered in their last match, going down to the Delhi Capitals (DC) by nine wickets. Their batting flopped completely as they were bundled out for 115 and the bowlers did not have any runs to defend.
Openers Mayank Agarwal and Shikhar Dhawan need to score runs. Also, Punjab need to take a call on whether Bhanuka Rajapaksa should come back in place on Jonny Bairstow. One cannot be too harsh on the bowlers as they haven't got a chance to make an impact in the last couple of matches.
PBKS predicted XI: Mayank Agarwal (c), Shikhar Dhawan, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Liam Livingstone, Jitesh Sharma (wk), Shahrukh Khan, Benny Howell, Kagiso Rabada, Rahul Chahar, Vaibhav Arora, Arshdeep Singh
Chennai did well to get the better of the Mumbai Indians in the last match. Mukesh Choudhary finally proved that he has got some talent with the ball, coming up with a match-winning performance. CSK need to take a call on whether they want to stick to Mitchell Santner or go back to Moeen Ali.
The problems in the batting persist. Ruturaj Gaikwad has had only one good knock while Ambati Rayudu has been inconsistent and skipper Ravindra Jadeja has not done a lot with the bat. He has been dropping catches as well. Had it not been for MS Dhoni and Dwaine Pretorius, CSK would have gone down to MI.
CSK predicted XI: Ruturaj Gaikwad, Robin Uthappa, Ambati Rayudu, Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja (c), MS Dhoni (wk), Dwaine Pretorius, Dwayne Bravo, Mitchell Santner, Maheesh Theekshana, Mukesh Choudhary
Top fantasy picks for PBKS vs CSK clash: Liam Livingstone, Shikhar Dhawan, Kagiso Rabada, Robin Uthappa, Mukesh Choudhary, Shivam Dube
